Once your ZenSync automation is set up, it’s important to know how to verify that everything is running smoothly. Here’s how you can check and what signals to look for.
1. Slack Notifications
If your plan includes Slack alerts, you’ll receive a message every time a Zendesk ticket is escalated to Jira. The notification includes key ticket details and a direct link to the Jira issue.
- Check the configured Slack channel for these real-time updates
- If you don’t see notifications, check with your Slack admin or contact us
2. Airtable or Google Sheets Logging (Advanced & Pro)
For plans that include ticket logging, your Airtable base or Google Sheet will automatically have new rows added with escalated ticket details.
- Verify new entries appear shortly after a ticket is escalated
- If no new rows appear, verify sharing permissions or contact us for support
3. Weekly Email Reports (Pro)
If you’re on the highest tier, you’ll receive a weekly summary email listing all escalated tickets, their status, and any relevant notes.

- If you don’t receive reports, check your spam folder or notify us
4. Testing & Support
